Instagram, which constantly brings new features to improve user experience, announced that it has introduced some innovations to the application. The features announced today will allow users to better connect with each other through music, photos and Reels videos.
The new features added to Instagram include some useful innovations such as swipe posts and joint sharing in posts or Reels videos. Let's add that these features may not be available for everyone yet.
Music can be added to scrolling posts (Carousel)
As it is known, we could add music to stories or normal posts. The innovation announced by the platform today expands the scope of this feature. Now users will be able to add music to scrolling posts.
Instagram collaborated with famous singer Olivia Rodrigo to announce the feature. The artist shared a scrolling post from his account and added his new song "bad idea right?" to this post.
The number of people in joint posts increased from two to four
Another feature announced by Instagram is the joint sharing feature in Reels and posts. Normally, a maximum of two people shared posts. Now users will be able to invite three people for their posts. In other words, four people in total will be able to share posts together.
Innovations have also come to the “Add You Too” feature
Finally, with the new “Add You Too” sticker, content creators can highlight Reels videos from their followers in their posts. Other users can also see these videos. The platform states that up to 10 videos can be added to the sticker by content producers, and adds that notifications will be sent to the owners of the selected videos.
